Infrared Inspection
GeoDigital has pioneered the use of infrared cameras for the electric utility industry since the late 1980's and remains an innovative force on the leading edge of this technology today.
First created with the support of one of the largest electric utilities in the United States, GeoDigital's solutions team has evolved over the years to develop precise field operational procedures that consistently offer the highest quality IR service available in the marketplace.
GeoDigital operates only long wavelength imagers in the inspection of transmission lines and conducts thermal inspections using either quantitative or qualitative imagers with corresponding color video and voice annotation, providing customers with a full evaluation of all detected thermal anomalies via hardcopy and/or electronic means.
It isn't just the experience and technology that separates GeoDigital from the competition - it's our people.
Our operators are Certified Level II Thermographers and their understanding of physics, coupled with years of experience in the field minimizes any incidence of reporting false positives. We strive to provide maximum verifiable data for customers requiring reliable and cost-effective preventative maintenance programs.
