Asset Mapping and Inventory Support
GeoDigital is the solution for accurate accounting and inventory support of geographically dispersed assets.
Recognizing all electric utilities face similar problems but incorporate unique 'in house' procedural guidelines to address them, GeoDigital's Asset Mapping and Inventory Support has been expertly customized to meet the specific needs and expectations of each customer.
Our experienced field crews use helicopter platforms equipped with a suite of sensors, cameras, and survey equipment to inventory and geographically position transmission rights-of-way assets. The final delivered product can be viewed using a standard Geographical Information System (GIS) or GeoDigital's custom viewer to pinpoint any location within a complete transmission grid and view high resolution images - front, back, and overhead - of any asset along the mapped flight path.
GeoDigital's Solutions Experts offer:
Complete imagery solutions using three state-of-the-art streaming digital still cameras to provide a visual record of every inch of right-of-way and of all assets. Our down-looking imagery provides the ability to blend and mosaic high resolution images to form strip image views of any selected section of the right-of-way.
A linked database provides all circuit or route names, interconnects, substations, line numbers, color coded voltages and capacities, structure or pole attributes, local environmental conditions as well as any other data features requested by the customer.
