Benefits of GeoDigital’s Integrated Work Management Software:

  • Identified grow-in, fall-in, and clearance conditions are delivered instantaneously
  • Condition reports are dispatched to crews for remediation of the identified issues
  • Accurate mapping of transmission assets and access to high-resolution images and LiDAR data are seamlessly integrated in easy-to-use applications
  • Create, share, track, and audit map-based vegetation control information
  • Improve field work productivity through well-planned, controlled, and targeted prescriptions instead of yearly cyclic clear-cutting
  • Full documentation and report generation to support FAC-003 compliance

Clearion Software with the GeoDigital Extension – A Sophisticated TVMP Work Management System that Enables Virtual Visual Inspections

Through our collaboration with Clearion Software we have developed an optimized solution that while built on ESRI’s ArcGIS framework, it is compatible with all standard Utility data bases and enterprise management applications.  Uniquely however it is tightly coupled with GeoDigital’s image and LiDAR viewing tools. This GeoDigital software Extension seamlessly handles the challenge of integrating imagery, LiDAR, and GIS data into a user-friendly environment. This integrated GeoDigital and Clearion Software solution offers the user a sophisticated data management system that enables users to create, share, track, plan, schedule and audit information within an enterprise GIS database.

Working at the desktop the forestry user or utility professional can view high resolution imagery of the right of way and structures together with LiDAR imagery.  The imagery is resolute enough to determine species types and the LiDAR provides vegetation height, area and when used annually, growth rates.   This information allows the generation of detailed work plans for mitigation or annual cycle maintenance on a span by span basis -critical inputs to the TVMP that are tracked and managed by the Clearion software. Similarly structure and ROW images allow the identification of maintenance issues, environmental concerns and ROW encroachments with documented certainty, a capability unmatched by any other inspection solution.

Our software won’t eliminate the need for on site inspection but it will reduce the number of sites you need to visit substantially, improving productivity and eliminating the uncertainty associated with estimating clearances to lines at maximum rated conditions or vegetation growth rates. And when you go to the field Clearion Mobile will be there with you allowing you to seamlessly transition from office to the field, synchronizing your data effortlessly, at the end of each day or wirelessly.

With this collaborative partnership, we are able to offer a solution that goes well beyond a typical basic ESRI, AutoDesk, or Small World GIS implementation. The combined GeoDigital and Clearion solution, offers the unique advantages of seamless image and LiDAR integration, asset tracking and management, vegetation clearance condition reporting and ROW management, with easy extension to a wide variety of mobile and desktop tools designed to meet specific needs. The use of an established GIS framework of tools offers a cost effective solution that is, stable, extendable, and has a proven install base with utility clients. Our solution offers the benefit of being built upon the established and proven technology developed by ESRI and deployed by thousands of Utilities around the world.

GRID^INTEL ONLINE

Grid^Intel Online is a secure web-based mapping and data management system that provides immediate access to your valuable data through a standard browser. It allows authenticated users within an organization to work with their aerial images, GIS data, emergent conditions, and LiDAR for a variety of compliance and maintenance activities. Grid^Intel Online is a user-friendly tool, a powerful solution for acquiring, analyzing and reporting on the condition of transmission corridors, vegetation encroachments, and structures to efficiently meet regulatory requirements.

Grid^Intel Online also includes a mobile application that can be used on field tablets or laptops to receive and submit work orders that were dispatched and assigned to a specific field worker. These field workers can then get directions to the site, fill in the work order form, attach a picture of the completed work, and submit it back to the central server. Throughout this process the progress is tracked and documented, keeping everyone apprised of the current status.
